MEA alums are explorers. Some of you have traveled to Baja for workshops and Sabbatical Sessions. Others have experienced MEA Online, with technology navigating new paths. And many more will venture to Baja and Santa Fe in the future. You’ve told us what really matters to you. You want to partner with us in more MEAningful ways — continuing to grow via internal explorations and learning in community — guided to new insights and connections, and sharing your wisdom in the world.
In the spirit of long life learning and cultivating community, we’ve designed two alumni memberships to support you beyond your first MEA experience. Both provide lots of ways to continue to explore and grow with us, and together. Our Standard Membership offers news, events and connection to the greater alumni community. And the Corazón Membership extends this offering with even more opportunities and education. Either way, your exploration continues and we travel together to what’s next on the modern elder journey.

MEA Alumni are brilliant professionals that travel across all sectors of business, and every type of organization and consultancy. Corazón members will have the opportunity to list their expertise in this curated resource on the MEA Portal. Share your brilliance with us, and we’ll shine the spotlight on you for all alumni to see.

Each season we’ll hold an online event hosted by one of MEA’s co-founders. Inspired by our group experiences in Baja — from reflective and exploratory to fun and party-like...Poetry & Lyrics anyone? Expect some old favorites, and some new ones. Either way, be prepared for effervescence!
We’re eco-conscious about our ‘swag’. Corazón members will receive a custom tote bag, handmade by a Baja women’s artist collective and containing your member gifts: a special book by one of our luminaries, Chip’s coloring book, The Land of Yet, Cards on the Table game, and, of course, some surprises.
Expect to receive a few surprises throughout the year (if we told you what, they wouldn’t be a surprise, would they?). Just know that we’ll be thinking about what you told us is most MEAningful: Connection. Learning. Serving. This will guide our choices in bringing you a little extra delight.
We’ve planned your yearlong itinerary for maximum enjoyment, and with our usual intentional cadence.
Upon joining Corazón, you’ll have immediate access to: sign up for MEA Online (or a $750 credit toward any Baja campus program), our Concierge Service, and Chip’s Flatline on the Faultline audiobook. And in short order, you’ll receive a special package in the mail with your Corazón artisan gift, copy of Radical Alignment and two copies of The Land of Yet.
In February, we’ll launch our first topical Transitions Groups.
In March, you’ll select your Corazón Compadre.
In May, you’ll be able to feature your business in the Professional Services Corner on our membership site.
Each season, enjoy a quarterly co-founder’s party with fun and surprises!
Given the times we’re living in, we want to make sure that Corazón is affordable for everyone. So, we’re making it easy to join by offering the $600 one-year membership in 12 monthly payments of $50.

As part of your Corazón membership, we’ll make a donation in your name, and it will be inscribed on a plaque at MEA’s Baja campus.

The most valuable gift I received from my time at MEA was a new mindset. And the best thing about a growth mindset powered by love, faith and intention is that it needs constant feeding. That’s why I treasure my continued connection to MEA leaders, programs and alums. Having a supportive community and learning tools along on my journey will help me cultivate greater self-acceptance, happiness and wisdom.
My experience at SabSesh has been life changing, so much so that I extended my initial two-week trip to four weeks then six weeks... I am thrilled to have the opportunity via the Corazón membership program to stay connected with the MEA community and expert teachings to continue the growth and transformation initially forged at Baja.
My MEA experience was a rite of passage. Modern culture has so few good examples of what it means to live life well. At age 71, I was looking for something better. At MEA, I met people who value and celebrate personal growth, wisdom, and living life fully. I now feel that I’m not alone on this journey; and that’s why I’m part of the MEA community.
My first workshop was in 2019, followed by a recent Sabbatical Session. MEA was the perfect place to land when transitioning to single life from a long marriage and again the right place to be during COVID as I ponder career choices. I've made incredible relationships and look forward to expanding them by being a Corazón member.
MEA is an oasis that refreshes me and replenishes my emotional supplies for the rest of my journey. I’m excited about Corazón. It will increase my connection to a community of vibrant, curious long-life learners. As a health coach, I teach that the people we associate with affect our physical and psychological health. The MEA community is good for my health and will extend the length and quality of my life.
I discovered MEA while on the verge of burnout and in great need of personal and professional renewal. My experience was so transformational, that I’ve done three programs and am planning a fourth! The team creates magical and unique experiences that envelop you in love, support and wisdom. I wish everyone I knew could experience MEA.
